Location: Austin, TX - Fully Onsite/Hybrid depending on team needs
Pay Range: $60.45/hr on W2
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage localization projects across multiple products, languages, regions, and release timelines.
- Partner with internal localization, QA, engineering, product, and content teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate localization QA activities and support testing of localization tools and workflows.
- Conduct or coordinate exploratory testing to identify functional, linguistic, and localization issues.
- Manage detailed bug reporting, defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution throughout the localization lifecycle.
- Coordinate with international vendor testers and localization partners to execute testing and deliver high-quality localized products.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating issues when necessary.
- Manage multiple localization projects simultaneously while working within tight deadlines and rapidly changing priorities.
- Ensure localized content and product experiences accurately reflect established voice, terminology, quality standards, and user experience across global markets.
- Develop project documentation, status updates, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to increase localization efficiency, quality, and consistency.
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication across geographically distributed teams.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in localization project management, localization QA, software QA, internationalization, or a related field.
- Experience managing localization workflows and projects across multiple languages, regions, or product releases.
- Hands-on experience with localization tools, QA processes, exploratory testing, and defect management.
- Proven experience documenting, tracking, prioritising, and resolving localization bugs and quality issues.
- Experience coordinating with international vendors, external testers, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of software QA and online production processes.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Linguistics, Localization, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Must-Haves
- Localization project management experience with a strong understanding of localization workflows.
- Experience with localization QA, software QA, and localization testing.
- Hands-on experience with localization tools and exploratory testing methodologies.
- Proven experience with bug reporting, defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
- Experience coordinating internal teams, international vendors, or external testers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and escalate linguistic, functional, and localization issues.
- Strong communication and organizational skills within a global/cross-functional environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Native-level proficiency in a language other than English.
- Experience supporting localization across 50+ languages or global markets.
- Experience with localization/internationalization tools and platforms.
- Background in software development, QA, internationalization, or linguistic testing.
- Experience working with global technology companies or large-scale consumer products.
- Experience coordinating international vendor testing teams.
