Required Skills:
- MD or DO certification with valid medical licensure in Indiana
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospital-based practice
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to work independently while adhering to hospital protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, to serve a broader patient population
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of relevant OB/GYN hospitalist experience
- Current ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
Other Requirements:
- Must hold an active Indiana medical license or be in the process of securing one
- Comply with all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
- Travel and licensure reimbursement services available where applicable
- Ability to work in Evansville, IN for the duration of the assignment
