We are seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily supply chain and transportation operations for a rapidly growing food manufacturing and distribution organization. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing transportation documentation, working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end fulfillment for fresh and frozen orders-delivery scheduling, appointment booking, freight arrangements, and customer notifications-across company and 3PL partners.
• Create, print, and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) as orders ship; prepare outbound documentation, including seals and required customer paperwork.
• Submit daily order releases to cold-storage and 3PL partners in line with QC direction; track released pallets and report leftovers weekly.
• Create and manage inbound and outbound freight purchase orders in NetSuite; track freight costs and reconcile POs once orders ship.
• Process export and co-packing orders end to end, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
• Verify all orders shipped, log missed shipments or delays, and keep the tracking log current.
• Review proofs of delivery (PODs) from carriers and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain organized filing systems for shipping records and administrative documentation.
• Partner with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to keep workflows aligned and orders moving.
• Participate in a monthly weekend on-call rotation for customer notices, warehouse updates, and delivery-delay communication.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, documentation standards, and safety protocols.
• Handle general administrative duties and other tasks as needed to support operations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, freight coordination, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Experience processing shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
• Background in food manufacturing, food distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), meat processing, cold storage, or temperature-controlled logistics.
• Familiarity with refrigerated transportation and cold-chain operations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
