Job Summary: The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management, tracking, movement, and governance of data center hardware assets. The role ensures accurate asset records, secure chain of custody, and compliance with established asset management, warehouse, audit, RMA, disposal, and SOX control requirements. Key responsibilities:
Receiving hardware deliveries, validating shipments, processing RFID scans, and updating asset status and location records.
Tracking assets, spares, parts, servers, storage, network equipment, drives, and optics throughout their lifecycle.
Managing warehouse and stockroom organization, security, housekeeping, and storage utilization.
Conducting physical inventory audits and resolving asset record discrepancies.
Supporting asset transfers, parts locker operations, RMAs, replacements, and inter-data-center shipments.
