We are seeking a Logistics Management Specialist, to lead the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for the U.S. Air Force 638 Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG). This project will provide logistics support services for the U.S. Air Force. This position is full-time, on-site at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia, working 40 hours per week between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM; must be present between core hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays and base closure dates.

The Logistics Management Specialist will be a personnel position for the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for the U.S. Air Force 638 Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) contract, advising on strategic sustainment acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment. This position leads the members and stakeholders in the implementation of the sourcing strategies utilizing the eight-step strategic sourcing process and continuous process improvements to streamline contractual efforts. The LMS conducts analyses on past, current and future performance and spend data to select the best overall strategy for the portfolio. This position is contingent upon contract award.
