The Logistics Manager oversees inbound and outbound logistics operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the timely, accurate, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods. This role provides leadership for shipping, receiving, transportation, inventory and material movement activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics, shipping, receiving, and material movement.
- Lead and develop logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory and material handling personnel as applicable.
- Coordinate shipments and transportation to meet production and customer requirements.
- Manage carrier relationships, performance, and freight costs.
- Ensure accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to resolve logistics issues.
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient logistics operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and material flow.
Schedule:
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory, transportation, shipping/receiving, or a related field.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, shipping software, and carrier portals.
- Knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Must be a U.S citizen.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

- Onsite position with office environment and exposure to manufacturing areas.
