The Opportunity

Ready to shape logistics across a North American manufacturing network? We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead shipping teams, strengthen cross-border operations, and improve how products move from plant to customer.

This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact through smarter freight strategies, consistent inventory practices, and strong team leadership. You’ll partner directly with plant leaders and Finance to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and keep operations moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop Shipping Supervisors across multiple manufacturing locations, including hiring and training site-level shipping leaders.

  • Partner with Plant Managers to improve shipping performance, material handling, storage, and yard utilization.

  • Establish consistent shipping procedures for load configuration, securement, packaging, and inventory handling.

  • Manage carrier relationships, freight bids, shipping data, and claims to improve service and control transportation costs.

  • Optimize flatbed, oversized, and specialized product shipments.

  • Oversee inventory count processes and work with plant teams and Finance to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

  • Manage daily U.S.–Canada customs requirements, documentation issues, and shipment escalations.

  • Monitor tariff changes and assess their impact on shipping costs and cross-border movements.

  • Support ERP shipping-module training and expand barcode scanning adoption.

  • Champion safe operations and continuous improvement through LEAN and 5S practices.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive logistics, shipping, or distribution experience, ideally within manufacturing.

  • Experience leading shipping teams across multiple locations.

  • Working knowledge of load securement, flatbed or oversized freight, carrier management, and freight claims.

  • Experience with U.S.–Canada cross-border shipments and customs documentation.

  • Proficiency with ERP shipping modules, barcode scanning, and inventory systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn freight and inventory data into practical improvements.

  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to influence plant teams across locations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • LEAN and 5S experience preferred.

Travel & Work Environment

  • Ability to travel 25–50%, with more frequent travel initially to build relationships with plant teams.

  • Comfortable working in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and outdoor yards while following site safety and PPE requirements.

Why Join?

  • Competitive salary and eligibility for incentive compensation.

  • Comprehensive benefits, including health and dental coverage.

  • Retirement savings and paid time off.

  • Tuition and professional development assistance.

  • The opportunity to lead meaningful improvements across a North American manufacturing operation.

Bring your logistics expertise, build strong teams, and help shape a more efficient supply chain. Apply today.
