Job Summary:

 EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Logistics Specialist in Herndon, VA.  The Logistics Specialist will assist in maintaining inventory and perform daily material pickups from various vendors. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 This position will be responsible for:

• Manage and Maintain Inventory Records
• Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed for each trade
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
• Institute the corrective action and/or inform your supervisor on any deficiencies found while performing the job.
• Perform other tasks as directed by your Supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver License  
• Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Tools/Parts in each trade
• Able to Maintain Inventory Records
• Must have a cleared TS or TS/SCI prior to be offered the position

• Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 75 lbs.)
• Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
• Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies and parts
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
