Logistics Supervisor

Location: Dublin, GA
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations in our Dublin, GA facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting shipping and receiving deadlines, and supporting production operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Plan and optimize shipping schedules and transportation activities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and ensure operational goals are consistently achieved.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensure products are properly received, labeled, stored, and issued.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory transactions and reporting.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Assign daily work priorities and monitor team performance.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports.
  • Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Quality teams to improve workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous leadership experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Experience supervising warehouse personnel in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling.
  • Experience coordinating freight carriers and transportation logistics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and regulatory compliance.
