Logistics Supervisor We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Supervisor to lead daily logistics operations and ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. This position plays a critical role in coordinating transportation activities, supervising logistics personnel, managing carrier relationships, and supporting production scheduling efforts.

Key Responsibilities - Lead, coach, train, and support logistics coordinators and assigned team members.
- Coordinate outbound transportation activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Build and oversee truckload and multi-stop shipments based on customer orders and inventory availability.
- Negotiate freight rates and maintain strong relationships with approved carriers.
- Schedule customer deliveries and resolve shipping issues, delays, and transportation challenges.
- Monitor order status, inventory levels, and transportation schedules to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams across multiple locations to maximize shipping efficiency.
- Support production scheduling activities by aligning customer demand, inventory, and manufacturing capacity.
- Conduct team meetings and communicate operational priorities and updates.
- Assist with freight claims, expedited shipments, detention charges, and other transportation-related matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on freight costs, shipping accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster collaboration between logistics, production, sales, customer service, and warehouse teams.

Education & Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, including Epicor or similar business software, preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
