Clayton Services is searching for a Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor to join a thriving manufacturing company in the Humble, Texas area. The Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution, while ensuring materials and products move efficiently throughout the organization.

Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day supply chain, logistics, inventory, and warehouse activities.
- Coordinate demand, supply, and production planning to support manufacturing requirements.
- Manage inventory levels and help prevent material shortages, excess inventory, and production interruptions.
- Oversee purchasing activities and supplier performance to support quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound distribution activities.
- Monitor supplier performance and assist with resolving material, quality, and delivery issues.
- Develop and monitor supply chain performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory and supply chain transactions within ERP systems.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement appropriate corrective or preventive measures.
- Partner with production, sales, purchasing, and finance teams to support operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Lead, train, and develop supply chain and logistics personnel.
- Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing supply chain and logistics operations.
- Understanding of production planning, purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate operational data and make sound business decisions.
- Effective supplier-management and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ERP experience required; SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally for company-sponsored training.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or materials experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 2 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience overseeing multiple areas of the supply chain, including inventory, warehousing, purchasing, planning, and distribution, strongly preferred.
