COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $19.00 per hour, Overtime $28.50

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM • Mandatory overtime, including evenings and weekends, especially during peak election periods

• Position Type: Temporary Assignment

ROLE IMPACT

CornerStone Staffing is hiring Logistics Warehouse Associates to prepare election equipment, voting machines, ballots, and supplies for election sites. This position plays an important role in ensuring voting equipment and materials are organized, cleaned, and ready for Election Day. Successful candidates demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

KEY DUTIES

• Clean, inspect, and prepare voting machines and touchscreen equipment for election sites.

• Inventory, organize, and distribute election supplies, ballots, and Election Judge materials by voting precinct.

• Operate shrink wrap machines to package election supplies and materials.

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move warehouse materials.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while meeting daily production goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

• Standing 8-10 hours

• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including evenings and weekends, and maintain reliable attendance.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Forklifts and warehouse material handling equipment

• Shrink wrap machines and packaging equipment

• Voting machines, touchscreen devices, and election supplies

• Fast-paced warehouse environment requiring prolonged standing and physical activity

• Frequent handling, sorting, cleaning, and organizing of equipment and materials

DRESS CODE & WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS

• Permitted clothing includes clean jeans without rips or tears, slacks, appropriate athletic pants, and sweatpants.

• Shirts and T-shirts must be free of logos. Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required.

• Shorts, leggings, tights, sleeveless or revealing shirts, baggy clothing, skin-tight clothing, torn clothing, and house shoes are prohibited.

• Cell phones must remain turned off during working hours and may only be used during scheduled breaks or lunch.

• Consistent attendance, punctuality, productivity, and adherence to workplace policies are required.

• Dress code and cell phone policy violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or distribution experience.

• Forklift operation and material handling experience.

• Experience with equipment preparation, packaging, sorting, or order fulfillment.
