Long Term Substitute Nurse West Springfield Public Schools

Duties: 1.Provide first aid to children, care for students who have suffered an injury or medical emergency 2.Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with school policy and physician orders 3.Perform medical procedures as indicated by students'' physicians 4.Screen students in the areas of vision, hearing and scoliosis 5.Maintain health records 6.Maintain confidentiality in school, home, and community settings as mandated by Massachusetts Regulations 7.Performs other duties reasonably related to his/her function, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• RN, BSN, MA DESE School Nurse Licensed or eligible
• CPR certified

Salary: $38.61/hour
