As our Loss Control Associate, you will help Mountain West to win new clients and retain current clients by assessing risks and helping clients to avoid and/or reduce losses resulting from those risks. You will provide loss control and safety services for Mountain West Insurance clients encompassing specifically on Transportation, but also Property, General Liability, Worker Compensation, and other lines of coverage. Working closely with producers, you will collaborate with a variety of team members including account executives, account managers and claims advocate team members.
Summary of Essential Duties: - Assist with account acquisition, client retention and reduce potential losses for clients. Provide safety surveys, safety resources, risk and loss analysis and training assistance.
- Facilitate both Agency and Client relations, including but not limited to, round table discussions between client, producer, and insurance carrier about their specific industry needs. Assist with carrier safety recommendation and standard compliance.
- Participate in OSHA training and safety courses, including conferences and continuing education necessary to maintain ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation.
- Provide client service by anticipating client loss control needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner.
- Use data management system (EPIC) efficiently and follow official agency workflows and guidelines within required timeframes.
- Contribute to and promote a positive atmosphere in working with designated niche team lead, Producer, Account Executive/Manager, and claims advocate staff to reduce risks for client accounts.
- Manage workload to maintain standards established by the agency and ensure timely response to clients.
- Extensive traveling is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
•$75,000 - $96,000 depending on experience
