SECURITY GUARD – CORPORATE OFFICE (PRN / ON-CALL)

LOCATION Irving, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

On-Call, As Needed • Shift Length: Standard 8-hour shifts; overtime is not expected

 Facility Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

 Available Shifts: First Shift (4:30 AM–12:00 PM), Second Shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM), Flexible Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)

Scheduling: Mus be available for varying shifts to cover employee absences, PTO, and staffing gaps following initial training

ROLE IMPACT: CornerStone Staffing is hiring a dependable Security Guard to support safety, security, and asset protection at a corporate office in Irving, TX. This PRN position provides flexible, on-call coverage while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for employees and visitors. Success requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to security concerns and basic technical issues.

KEY DUTIES

• Monitor corporate office premises, surveillance cameras, security systems, and employee badge access controls to maintain a safe environment.

• Perform routine security patrols involving extended periods of walking and standing throughout the facility.

• Troubleshoot basic surveillance equipment, badge access systems, and security technology when malfunctions occur.

• Provide friendly, professional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and coworkers.

• Respond to security concerns, report unusual activity, and provide reliable coverage for scheduled absences and call-outs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous security guard, corporate security, or asset protection experience required.

• Basic computer skills, technical troubleshooting ability, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Surveillance cameras, security monitoring systems, and electronic badge access systems.

• Corporate office environment requiring frequent interaction with employees and visitors.

• This position will require a lot of walking.

• Must be able to work/stand for entire shift.

• Must be available to work varying shifts based on operational needs.

PREFERRED SKILLS 

• Military veterans encouraged to apply.

• Experience troubleshooting electronic security, surveillance, or access control systems.

• Previous experience in customer-facing corporate security environments.
