Our Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit delivers safe, reliable, and efficient low‑voltage distribution and control solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Role snapshot

We’re hiring for a 2nd Shift assembler who takes pride in precision work and enjoys moving between mechanical assembly and basic wiring. You’ll contribute directly to switchgear, switchboards, and power panel builds that keep communities energized.

Hourly Rate: $18.11 – $21.74

A day in the life

  • Start your shift by logging jobs, scanning work orders, and aligning tasks to the production schedule.
  • Interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and one‑line diagrams to plan each build.
  • Collect required components and hardware; then assemble and wire low‑voltage switchgear, switchboards, and power panels using hand and power tools (wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, etc.).
  • Secure and label parts and subassemblies, double‑check tolerances, specifications, and customer requirements, and tag units appropriately.
  • Troubleshoot and rework: adjust or replace parts, connect basic cables and wires, and resolve non‑conformances.
  • Prepare finished units for shipment—pack, seal, and label—so they arrive ready for installation.
  • Pitch in on additional assignments as production needs evolve.

What you’ll bring

  • Comfort with basic computers and common mechanical/measuring tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English—spoken and written.
  • Physical agility to grasp and move parts; stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb as needed.
  • Capability to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavier materials when required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of assembly or wiring experience.
