Robertsdale Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center, in Robertsdale , AL is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Admissions team. If you have a desire and a passion to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both long-term and short-term care, this is the opportunity for you!

Job Duties Include:

• Consulting on medical screening of inquiries /referrals
• Responding to inquiries regarding potential nursing home admissions in writing, by telephone, or in person.
• Providing information about the admission process and conduct facility tours
• Receiving inquiries /referrals on behalf of potential residents and maintain record of receipt and disposition.
• Verifying medical insurance of potential residents (Medicare, Medicaid, other)
• Interviewing potential residents and/or sponsors and complete admission packet

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Alabama
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
