We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week day shift assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care, long-term care, or clinic settings and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for travel nurses or local LPNs looking to gain experience and contribute meaningfully to patient care.
Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of RNs or physicians
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records
Assist patients with daily living activities (ADLs)
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
Provide patient and family education and emotional support
Current and valid LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license)
Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience (recent experience preferred)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association or equivalent required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Must pass background check, drug screening, and any required health screenings
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift 6:00am-6:30pm
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
