Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and wound care
Assist physicians and RNs in performing clinical assessments and procedures
Document patient information, medical histories, and care plans accurately in medical records
Communicate patient status updates and changes in condition to supervising nursing staff
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Requirements:
Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Previous clinical nursing experience preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and patient care procedures
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
