Job Summary
A skilled nursing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking an experienced LPN for a 5-week local contract assignment. The role involves providing direct patient care in a long-term care setting, supporting residents’ clinical needs, and ensuring safe, high-quality nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents under RN supervision
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs
Support patient care plans and clinical interventions
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
Communicate patient condition changes to nursing staff
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong medication administration and clinical skills required
Ability to monitor and document patient conditions required
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures required
Strong communication and documentation skills required
Ability to work in a structured healthcare environment required
