Job Description:

Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia seeks an LPN to join our team. This position works out of an office environment that primarily provides telehealth services rather than in-person care. Must be able to communicate well with parents having a variety of backgrounds, abilities and communication styles. Should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment. Our multidisciplinary team is continually growing to meet the needs of southeast Georgia. Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing and monitoring care plans for patients within the medical practice
  • Reconcile medications
  • Document and implement chronic and principle care management plans
  • Provide emotional support to caregivers
  • Facilitate prescription refills
  • Assist with drug prior authorizations
  • Assist families getting set up for telemedicine
  • Conduct pre-visit planning
  • Make referrals
  • Ensure timely follow up of patients receiving case management

Requirements:

  • Active LPN license
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Interest in pediatric mental and behavioral health
  • 1+ year(s) experience in medical field (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Job Type:

  • Full-time, no nights, weekends or holidays

Pay:

  • $26 - $28 hourly
  • Pay is dependent upon experience
