LPN - Inpatient

Position Description: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

The LPN Inpatient responsibilities include:

• Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

• SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

• Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

• BLS

• ACLS preferred

Education:

• High School or Equivalent

Experience:

• 6 months Acute Care as LPN

• Or 6 months Acute Care as PCT

Location: BayCare Alliant HospitalStatus: Full Time, Exempt: NoShift Hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
