The Teresian House is currently hiring LPNs. These opportunities are for Full-Time and Part-Time evenings (2:45pm-11:15pm) and nights (10:45pm-7:15am).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physician. Document appropriately.
  • Assist with direct resident care as necessary, including personal care, feeding, care of environment changes, and safety.
  • Ensure recording of Intakes and Output, toileting records, turning and positioning sheets and other documentation in neighborhood.
  • Complete incident reports and initiate investigations occurring on assigned unit, and forward to RN Nurse Manager.
  • Notify RN for assessment as needed.
  • Initiate the transfer of residents to the hospital as necessary and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.

Qualified LPN candidates will:

  • Have graduated a state approved school of nursing
  • Possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
  • Show the ability to work well with others.
  • Exhibit a genuine interest in the care of geriatric residents
  • Have a willingness to perform all duties to support Teresian House residents
  • Possess CPR certification.
