Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an 8-week contract assignment in a Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing environment in Bismarck, ND.
This role is ideal for LPNs comfortable caring for residents with higher-acuity needs including tracheostomies, ventilators, tube feeds, wound care, and rehabilitation support. The facility provides flexible orientation and a supportive clinical environment.
Unit Details
LTC and Skilled Nursing Units
LTAC unit with trachs, vents, PEG tubes, and rehab patients
Stable vent and trach residents
Tube feed and wound care patients
Medication Aides available for support
Night Shift Ratio: Approximately 1:24 – 1:28
Matrix Charting System utilized
Units referred to as “Neighborhoods”
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to LTC and Skilled Nursing residents
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor and document resident conditions and responses to treatment
Provide trach and vent care as needed
Perform wound care and tube feed management
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality care standards
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Required Qualifications
Active LPN License required
Previous LTC or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
Comfortable caring for trach, vent, tube feed, and wound care residents
Ability to work rotating night schedules
Must be willing to work every other weekend
Strong communication and clinical skills
Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
