Job Description:
The role involves working in an outpatient clinic with a focus on medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, hematology, and BMT pre- and post-transplant care. It requires recent, relevant oncology experience and proficiency with EPIC Ambulatory.
Responsibilities:
Rooming patients; vital signs, review of systems, medication reconciliation, weight
Obtaining orders; processing patients for infusions
Chaperoning for provider with exams and procedures
Chart checks and setup for procedures
Reviewing referrals and supporting department activities
Requirements:
Must have 1.5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Oncology
Be currently certified in BLS
Completion of an approved nursing education program
Experience with EPIC Ambulatory and clinic operations is required
Travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility
