Job Title: LPN / LVN – Ambulatory Care
Location: Rochester, NY
Type: Contract
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 – 15:30), Monday–Friday (Rotating Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking LPN / LVN – Ambulatory Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room and prepare patients for provider examinations
  • Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure readings
  • Administer injections and medications as ordered
  • Perform EKGs and assist with diagnostic procedures
  • Conduct nasopharyngeal swabs and specimen collection
  • Perform ear flushes and other basic clinical procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation within EMR systems
  • Provide patient education and discharge instructions
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff
  • Float to other clinic areas as needed
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
  • Support smooth clinic workflow in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by clinic leadership

Requirements:

  • Active LPN / LVN License
  • Ambulatory Care experience required
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with injections, EKGs, nasopharyngeal swabs, BP monitoring, and ear flushes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable
  • Willingness to float as required
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous outpatient or clinic experience
  • Experience working in pediatric ambulatory settings
  • EMR documentation experience
  • Travel experience preferred but not required

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Active LPN / LVN License (Required)
