Location: Rochester, NY
Type: Contract
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 – 15:30), Monday–Friday (Rotating Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking LPN / LVN – Ambulatory Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rochester, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for provider examinations
- Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure readings
- Administer injections and medications as ordered
- Perform EKGs and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Conduct nasopharyngeal swabs and specimen collection
- Perform ear flushes and other basic clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within EMR systems
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Float to other clinic areas as needed
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Support smooth clinic workflow in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinic leadership
Requirements:
- Active LPN / LVN License
- Ambulatory Care experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with injections, EKGs, nasopharyngeal swabs, BP monitoring, and ear flushes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable
- Willingness to float as required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous outpatient or clinic experience
- Experience working in pediatric ambulatory settings
- EMR documentation experience
- Travel experience preferred but not required
Certifications & Licenses:
- Active LPN / LVN License (Required)
