Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Long Term Care Location: Montour Falls, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week Shift: Evening Shift – 5x8-Hour Shifts
Compensation:
Travel Pay: $1,550 – $1,600/week (based on experience)
Local Rate: $1,300 – $1,350/week – based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN/LVN with Long-Term Care experience to provide quality nursing care in a nursing home setting. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to care
Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
Support CNA duties when required to ensure quality resident care
Respond promptly to resident needs and changes in condition
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing home/LTC experience required
Active New York LPN License required
BLS Certification required
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
