What type of units? Long term and rehab
What is the size of each unit? 40 beds
Patient Ratios: 1 Nurse 20 residnets, 1 CNA 10 residents
Scrub Color: No specific color required
Patient Type/Population: Elderly, Dementia, Rehab
Charting System: Point Click Care
Will they require to Float? I like to try and keep everyone the same but there is a possibility of floating
Shift Length (8s, 12s) for Nurses and Aides: 8 hr shifts
Do you have active COVID in the Facility? Yes
Do you require a Test before the Traveler Starts? Yes
While on assignment do you require testing? Yes (In house testing)
Exact Shift Time(Days/Evenings/Nocs) for Nurses and Aides: 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm- 6:00am
Will there be overtime available? How will they get it? Good potential for overtime and Scheduler will notify
Who will interview? DON and HR
Scheduling (Block, Self)? Scheduler will set up schedule with any on coming staff
Certifications: NYS CNA Certification and NYS LPN License
How does the staff like the travelers? They do very well with traveling staff
Fun details or facts about the town or area. New Berlin has Dollar general, Pizza Place, Diner. Oneonta has Walmart and other shopping centers
Do you have any suggestions on housing? Oneonta NY, Norwich NY
