Position Overview:
- Location: Prince George, Maryland
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (may vary)
- Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00
- Start Date: Immediate
- Type: In-person, part time and full time openings
Responsibilities:
- LPN manages the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
- LPN monitors and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
- LPN provides first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
- LPN develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
- LPN maintains accurate and confidential health records
- LPN communicates with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
- LPN has ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- LPN potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
- MD state LPN license
- 2 years of LPN work experience REQUIRED
- CPR/BLS certification
- Current negative TB result
