This is an 1199 represented position that offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering nursing care to resident/patients in a long-term care facility under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Nurse Coordinator and/or RN. Responsible for recognizing changes in resident/patient's condition and responding appropriately. Communicates effectively with the nurse manager and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient/resident's needs and/or changes in condition. Appropriately assigns duties to Certified Nurse Assistants based on resident/patient needs, staff availability and unit needs.

Qualifications:
  • Certificate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program or required education as descried by the NYS Education Department
  • Certificate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • NYS LPN license required
  • Good clinical patient care skills and communication skills
  • Must be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and write in English is required
  • Valid BCLS
Min: USD $39.12/Hr.
