    Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Services
    Location: Lewiston/Auburn, ME
    Schedule: Full‑time
    Travel: Local travel required within the Lewiston/Auburn area

    Happy Haven provides person‑centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Central Maine. Our team is dedicated, mission-driven, and committed to creating meaningful, positive impact in our community.
    We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Adult Services leadership team and help guide high‑quality care across our programs.
    About the Role
    As the Registered Nurse, you will work alongside the current RN to provide clinical oversight, staff training, and healthcare compliance for individuals with medical and behavioral needs. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll collaborate directly with staff, providers, and families to ensure safe, compassionate, and compliant care.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and support day‑to‑day medical operations within Adult Services
    • Complete nursing assessments and train staff on individualized healthcare plans
    • Oversee medication administration, safety, and documentation practices
    • Serve as a liaison with physicians, hospitals, CDC, and other healthcare partners
    • Manage infection prevention protocols, including COVID‑19 procedures
    • Support staff training and certification in CRMA, wound care, diabetes care, and similar areas
    • Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal healthcare regulations
    • Participate in internal audits, quality assurance processes, and healthcare surveys
    Qualifications
    • Active Maine RN License
    • 6+ years of nursing experience, including experience with developmental disabilities
    • Strong knowledge of nursing services, healthcare regulations, and staff training
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health documentation
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel
    Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
