The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role involves performing clinical duties, patient education, and supporting healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is a temporary 15-week contract with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Current LPN Certification in Oklahoma Completion of an accredited LPN program At least 1 year of medical assisting experience CPR certification (preferred) IV Start certification (preferred) Phlebotomy experience and knowledge of specimen collection methods Ability to effectively read and write in medical terminology Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA compliance Familiarity with common prescription medications Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools Own transportation and ability to operate basic medical and computer equipmentResponsibilities Greet patients and prepare them for examination, including history-taking and record documentation Measure and record vital signs and other clinical data in electronic medical records Assist providers during procedures by handing instruments and equipment Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, IV monitoring, and in-office diagnostic tests Conduct CLIA-waived lab testing and maintain related logs and quality controls Draw blood and process specimens for send-out testing Provide patient education and support provider in clinical procedures Manage medical supplies, inventory, and ordering as needed Support front office functions, including patient check-in/out, referrals, and medication management Perform additional clerical and clinical duties as assignedBenefits Competitive hourly pay within the specified range Potential for permanent employment based on performance Opportunity to work in a professional healthcare environment supporting senior patient care Supportive team-based setting with room for professional growth
