Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $40 – $42 per hour (W2)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a supportive, team-based environment.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Long Term Care

• Shift: Days – 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

• Schedule: Every other weekend required

• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Travel Requirement: 75-mile radius rule (locals accepted; local rate applies)

• Float Requirement: Must float to all units within the same building

Facility & Unit Details

• Unit Size: 40-bed facility

• Patient Populations:

  • Med-Surg (MS)

  • Orthopedic (Ortho)

  • Dementia

  • Memory Care

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): PointClickCare

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered New York LPN license

• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience, preferably in long-term care or similar settings

• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)

• Ability to float to various units as needed

• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills

Compensation & Terms

• Pay Structure: $40 – $42 per hour (W2)

• Local Rate: Applies to candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility

• Overtime: Paid in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week (per contract terms)
