Job Overview:

Shriners Children's Twin Cities has an opportunity for a full time LPN to join our team!  Monday through Friday, 8-4:30pm.

 

The pay range for this position is $25.35 hourly to $39.17 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.

Responsibilities:
  • The LPN is accountable for providing care for pediatric patient's ages infant to 21 years.
  • Works as an advocate for patient and families in a collaborative effort with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Works to achieve quality outcomes using a family centered care philosophy.
  • Performs professional nursing service for patients and within the scope, ethics, and standards of practice.
    Performs routine and clinical tasks, obtains patient information, removal of casts and assists with other minor outpatient procedures.
  • Takes measurements and vital sign of patients and documents in the computer.
  • Performs clerical tasks including correspondence, coping, filing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education

HS diploma/GED required

Certificate preferred

 

Certification/Licensure

LPN license in state of practice required

BLS certification within 3 months of employment

 

Experience

One year’s nursing and/or pediatric experience preferred
