Responsibilities
- Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance standards of operation.
- Vehicle Services – perform lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, etc.), battery testing and installations
- Tire Services – perform wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, and installation
- Perform NYS Inspections in accordance with all regulations
- Assist with all general shop duties, ensuring the shop is in excellent condition and maintained to standards for cleanliness
- Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with safety standards
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, OSHA standards, safety and environmental codes and industry regulations including consistent use of required personal protective equipment
Qualifications
- Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
- NYS Automotive Inspector’s license preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work Saturday hours.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) as needed
- Spends 100% of work-day standing
