NDT UTSW/MT Technician

Pay: $63.00-$67.00

Position Summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced NDT LVL II UTSW/MT Technicians to join our team in Olean, New York. This is a full-time position that does not require relocation.

The NDT Technician will perform nondestructive testing inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) methods while following applicable procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform UT, MT inspections on a variety of components and equipment.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results according to applicable procedures and standards.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Follow company, client, and safety requirements.
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors, clients, and other team members.
• Maintain required certifications and training.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous NDT inspection experience required.
• UTSW and MT experience required.
• Current NDT certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and inspection instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
