Cardiology LVN - ASAP start | Decatur, TX
Award-winning, private Cardiology practice currently hiring a full-time LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) with 2+ years experience in EKGs, manual BP cuffs, Holter monitors, with active BLS certification, to join our team in Decatur, TX. 40 - 50 patients per day. ASAP start with immediate benefits (full list below)

Pay: $26.07/hr - $28.19/hr | Based on experience
Monday to Friday, 8a - 5p (40 hours per week)

* REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS *

1. 2+ years experience as an LVN
2. Current LVN license
3. active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
4. Proficiency in patient assessment and medication administration
5. Experience with eClinicalWorks
6. Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
7. Familiarity with cardiology including EKGs, manual cuffs, and Holter monitors
8. Dependable and capable of being on-time, professional, fast-paced, adept.

Job Summary:

• Patient volumes for each LVN will be between 50 - 60 patients
• Triage patients
• Answers patient inquiries regarding medication, follow-up on messages regarding surgery
• Patient education on surgery, procedures being scheduled
• Schedules surgery and relays pre-op information to patients
• Assists physician during patient exams
• Rooms patients, documents in ECW
• Perform EKGs, manual BP cuffs
• Holter monitors
• Communicate effectively to provide exceptional patient service across diverse populations.
