Position Title: LVN/LPN – OB/GYN
Location: West Hollywood, CA 90048
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay rate: $41 - $48/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients in the OB/GYN Prenatal Diagnosis Center.
  • Assist with patient intake, health history collection, medication reconciliation, and allergy documentation.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and assess patients' health status.
  • Perform strong phlebotomy and blood collection procedures as required.
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications according to provider orders and facility protocols.
  • Perform blood draws and specimen collection, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
  • Provide telephone triage and communicate patient concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Support the care of patients with high-risk pregnancies and maternal-fetal medicine needs.
  • Assist with patients experiencing pregnancy-related complications, including gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and other high-risk conditions.
  • Support care for patients undergoing prenatal diagnostic procedures, including chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniocentesis.
  • Assist with patient care related to maternal-fetal medicine, medical genetics, and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
  • Follow infection prevention, specimen handling, and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Requirements:
  • Active California LVN license required at the time of submission. Pending or temporary licenses are not accepted.
  • Minimum 2 years of LVN experience required.
  • Previous OB/GYN experience is mandatory.
  • Previous travel experience required. First-time travelers are not accepted.
  • Strong phlebotomy and blood draw skills are mandatory.
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or client accepted).
  • California IV and Blood Withdrawal certification required.
  • Experience with patient intake, health history, medication reconciliation, and allergy documentation.
  • Proficiency in vital sign monitoring, specimen collection, and medication administration.
  • Experience with telephone triage and women's health preferred.
  • Knowledge of high-risk pregnancy conditions and prenatal diagnostic procedures preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, clinical assessment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
