M365 Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer to support a growing organization with a range of infrastructure, cloud, and technology initiatives.

This position combines hands-on Microsoft 365 administration with project ownership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assessing technical needs, recommending solutions, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, implementing approved technologies, and creating clear documentation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, owning projects from start to finish, and collaborating with both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects from requirements gathering through implementation.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications and services.

• Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and third-party solutions.

• Present technical recommendations and assist with implementation planning.

• Coordinate with technology vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Develop technical documentation, procedures, and system administration guides.

• Partner with IT leadership on technology and infrastructure initiatives.

• Collaborate with systems administrators, support teams, and business stakeholders.

• Assist with technology integrations and changes across the organization.

• Support security, identity, compliance, and governance requirements.

• Create project plans, establish milestones, and manage technical initiatives through completion.

• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation following implementations.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Microsoft 365 Administration

• Exchange Online

• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory

• SharePoint Online

• Microsoft Teams

• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management

• Identity and Access Management

• Experience leading technical projects from discovery through implementation.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to independently manage priorities and technical initiatives.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience developing technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with endpoint management, patch management, or software deployment technologies.

• Experience working in security- or compliance-focused IT environments.

• Familiarity with security and governance best practices.

• Experience supporting technology integrations or significant organizational change.

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot administration, governance, or security considerations.

• Consulting, implementation, or project-based technology experience.

Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
