Machine Builder - Washington, MOPay: $20.38/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:20 PM (30-minute lunch)

Penmac Staffing is seeking a Machine Builder for a full-time position with a respected client in Washington, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and learning new technical skills in a team-oriented environment.Requirements for the Machine Builder
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- General knowledge of mechanics
- Working knowledge of basic machine tools
- Ability to learn mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn additional software and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Machine Builder ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine Builder, you will assist in the assembly, installation, and testing of industrial equipment while working alongside experienced technicians and supervisors. Duties include:
- Assemble and install standard equipment components
- Build and install electrical and electronic circuits using schematics and drawings
- Install PLCs and other electronic components
- Use hand tools, machine tools, multimeters, forklifts, tow motors, and overhead cranes as needed
- Assist with equipment disassembly and preparation for shipping when required
- Troubleshoot equipment using drawings, sketches, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with technicians, leads, and supervisors to develop equipment solutions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and LEAN activities
- Support quality improvement projects, root cause analysis, and process development
- Attend training opportunities and apprenticeship classes when available
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
