Machine Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and regular inspections on industrial machinery to keep equipment running smoothly and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures across complex systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) issues.
• Work with PLCs for programming, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure automated production lines function properly.
• Disassemble, repair, or replace worn and broken mechanical or electrical components.
• Assist with the setup, installation, and commissioning of new factory machinery.
• Partner with production and floor teams to quickly resolve machine issues, reduce downtime, and maintain manufacturing efficiency.
• Keep accurate logs and records of all maintenance work, repairs, and machine performance metrics.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
