Machine Operator 1st shift

Hire Dynamics is searching for a Guillotine operator for a facility in Belmont, NC.

We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Guillotine Operator / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating guillotine cutting equipment to cut materials to specifications and using a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, finished products, and inventory throughout the facility

Shift/Pay:

• Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
• Pay $18

Responsibilities for Guillotine operator include:

• Operate guillotine cutting machines according to production requirements and specifications.
• Review work orders and measurements to ensure accurate cuts.
• Perform quality checks on materials before and after cutting.
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and finished products.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and production lines.
• Maintain material flow between workstations and storage areas.
• Inspect forklift and machinery before each shift and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and company guidelines.
• Keep production and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory handling and material staging as needed.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating guillotine/slitter/cutting equipment preferred.
• Sit-down forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
