We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 1st Shift to join our team and perform various finishing processes on plastic cards and sheets using specialized machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and monitor quality and performance.
• Adjust machines using hand tools to maintain product quality and speed.
• Complete paperwork and data entry according to ISO or department procedures.
• Review job specifications and communicate relevant issues to the team.
• Perform routine operator maintenance and assist other operators as needed.
• Engage with the production supervision system to reflect machine status changes.
• Support the plant-wide 5S continuous improvement program.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend, speak, write, and read English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and calipers.
• Ability to interpret and work from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Effective communication and courteous interaction with coworkers.

Preferences

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating production machinery.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and ability to distinguish colors across the full spectrum.
• Safety shoes required; additional personal protective equipment may be necessary.
