Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, with occasional Saturdays based on production needs.

Job Description

We are seeking dependable and experienced Machine Operators to join a growing food manufacturing team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have previous food production or manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor food production and filling machinery.

Follow daily production schedules to meet quality and efficiency goals.

Perform machine adjustments, product changes, and basic troubleshooting.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and food safety guidelines.

Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, and production delays to supervisors.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to follow written instructions and complete production documentation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Must be available to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.

Comfortable working in a wet or humid food production environment.

Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals, fumes, and nut allergens.

Must wear steel-toe shoes and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
