Job Title: Manufacturing Operator
Location: Dresser, WI
Compensation: 
  • 1st Shift: $20.00/hour
  • 2nd Shift: $21.00/hour ($20.00 base + $1.00 shift differential)
  • Weekend Shift: $22.00/hour ($20.00 base + $2.00 shift differential)

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Manufacturing Operators for a leading manufacturer in Dresser, WI. This is a great opportunity for candidates with machine operating, production, warehouse, packaging, printing, food production, woodworking, or other industrial equipment experience. In this role, you'll support experienced machine operators while learning specialized manufacturing equipment and processes. What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Operator:
  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including punch press, press brake, and turret machines
  • Assemble components and finished goods using various production methods
  • Install, adjust, and align tooling and equipment for production runs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues as needed
  • Perform inspections using measuring tools to ensure product quality
  • Handle materials and load or unload machines to maintain production flow
  • Complete production documentation and maintain a clean, safe work environment

What You Need to Bring to the Manufacturing Operator Role:
  • At least 6 months of experience operating machines, equipment, or production lines in any manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, printing, food production, woodworking, construction, assembly, or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience operating any type of machinery or equipment is encouraged and will be considered
  • Must be able to work with blueprints, work instructions, and production documents
  • Must have basic math and measurement skills
  • Must be comfortable using hand and power tools and also measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, or gauges
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machines and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
