Machine Operators – Coating & Metallizing

Pay: $21–$23 per hour + shift differential

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (180 Days)

We are hiring Machine Operators for our Coating and Metallizing departments! These positions are ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and a strong attention to detail. Operators will work with specialized machinery used to apply coatings or metallic finishes to film products used in consumer packaging, trading cards, and lottery products.

Available Positions

Coating Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

• Pay: $21–$23 per hour + shift differential

• Physical Requirements: Lift and move materials weighing up to 65 pounds

Metallizer Machine Operator – 3rd Shift

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM

• Pay: $21–$23 per hour + $2.75 per hour shift differential

• Physical Requirements: Lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 85 pounds

• Must be available for overtime, including approximately 1–2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor production machinery.

• Thread and feed film through machine rollers and make basic equipment adjustments.

• Monitor production processes and inspect finished products for defects.

• Perform quality checks and testing to ensure products meet specifications.

• Complete machine changeovers and clean equipment between production runs.

• Handle raw materials and finished products using carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.

• Record production information and complete required paperwork using computer systems.

• Follow workplace safety procedures, including proper handling of solvents and other materials.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to follow instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the selected position.

• Forklift experience is a plus.

• High school diploma or GED required.
