    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Card Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team here at Bondex! The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the flow of materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. The individual must be flexible and willing to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.
     
    Responsibilities:
    1. Operates Carding Line that includes fiber opening, carding, web cross folding, and needling.
    2. Follow work orders and routing instructions to ensure to meet production specifications.
    3. Be proficient with product change over while minimizing waste.
    4. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and reports related to product specifications, production quantities, and any necessary adjustments made during the manufacturing process.
    5. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular lab tests to assess the physical properties of the products, ensuring they meet required standards. Promptly report any deviations or non-conformances, taking appropriate corrective action as needed.
    6. Data Management: Efficiently handle data entry tasks and complete required reports in a timely manner, contributing to the smooth operation of the manufacturing process and providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
    7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members in the finishing end department, providing support and assistance as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.
     
    Qualifications:
    •    Prior machine operation experience preferred.
    •    Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
    •    Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow established procedures accurately.
    •    Proficiency in record keeping and data management, with excellent organizational skills.
    •    Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
    •    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
     
    Schedule: Full Time, 3rd shift [11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday]
    Location: 2 Maxwell Drive Trenton, SC 29847
