We services customers in the Columbus, OH region. Our production work ranges from running Surface Mount Technology Lines, Wave Solder Machines, Potting Machines and Wire Processing equipment in addition to Soldering, Manual Assembly, Conformal Coating & Testing of products. We also incorporate an Inventory Control team responsible for Receiving, Shipping & Materials management throughout the facility.JOB SUMMARYLSI ADL is looking for energetic and outgoing individual to join our Surface Mount team as a Machine Operator. With this role the employee is responsible forOperate and maintain surface mount and/or auto insertion machines that assemble and solder printed circuit boardsWe will provide training.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform daily operation of surface mount and/or auto insertion machines for assembly of printed circuit boards using IPC standards and customer documentation to assure quality standards and meet demandsVerify accuracy of documentation per work orders, machine programming, and customer specificationsPull, count, and verify parts by manufacturer part number necessary for assembly per work orderSetup parts according to program setup sheet, correcting feeder pitch, vibe plate and trayUtilize X-ray function to verify proper placement and quality of solder joints on BGA/QFN partsTear down and restore parts to inventory upon job completionCreate new printer programs and teach device layout paste checks for all fine pitch, BGA and specialty partsComplete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervisionMaintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulationsAble to work with speed and efficiency while ensuring product qualityRepresents LSI Industries in the most positive manner prospective, current, and former employees, clients, suppliers, and the community we serveInteracts professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customersLearns and practices standard operating proceduresMaintains prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by managementHandles confidential information with tact and discretionOther duties as assignedBENEFITS:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offEEOC:LSI is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
