Machine Operator

The Converting Machine Operator will be working with a small group of employees in a climate-controlled facility to run and maintain equipment in the manufacturing, converting and assembly of a wide variety of end products. The position will be responsible for continuous operation of semi-complex equipment and flow of materials. This role ensures machines run efficiently, meet production targets, and adhere to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities along with an attention to detail.

Fulltime hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Machine Operation & Maintenance:

• Operate semi-complex, highly mechanical equipment in a production environment.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed to maintain product quality.

Production & Quality Control:

• Follow work orders and technical documentation for machine setup.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Record production data and report any defects or inconsistencies.
• Work with the quality assurance team to resolve issues and maintain compliance

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Report safety hazards or incidents immediately.

This role is based in a warehouse setting and may require standing for extended periods, moving throughout the facility, and handling packages of varying sizes and weights. Flexibility to support different tasks and shift needs may be required based on business demand.
