Machine Operator

Start your new career as a Manufacturing Certified Technician with MAU in Duncan, SC. As a Manufacturing Certified Technician, you will set up and operate stranding equipment, produce steel and alloy wire products, inspect finished cable, and document quality results.

• Pay of $21.01 per hour + 8% shift differential
• 3rd shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a 2/2/3 schedule

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of machine operator or machine set-up experience preferred
• Experience reading micrometers and calipers preferred
• Willing and available to work a 12-hour rotating shift on a 2/2/3 schedule
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift for periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Certified Technician

• Read and understand set-up sheets
• Complete strander set-up
• Strand steel and alloy wires
• Change out bobbins
• Complete level lay of finished cable
• Inspect products and document quality results
• Complete Oracle computer transactions
• Perform other tasks as assigned
